The pH of your swimming pool water must be maintained within the range of 7.2 and 7.8 because of its impact on chlorine efficiency, bather comfort and possible corrosion or scaling of the pool surfaces.
Direction For Use:
This tablet is only designed for pools 25,000 litres and above as the pH reduction may be too great in smaller pools. Before adding the tablet to the pool, test and adjust the TOTAL ALKALINITY of the water to between 80 to 120ppm. Test pH and if higher than 7.8, turn the pump on and add 1 x tablet directly to the skimmer box of the pool. Ensure that you do not block the filtration system with the tablet. Run the pump for 4-6 hours or until the tablet has completely dissolved. Re test the pH and add a further tablet if the pH is not within the acceptable range.
Warning:
ALWAYS ADD THE PRODUCT TO WATER. DO NOT mix with chlorine products or any other chemicals or materials other then water. Use plastic containers only.
