Filter Degreaser & Cleaner

The Vitalyse Filter Cleaner and Degreaser is a concentrated formula designed to remove oils and contaminents from your pool's filter.

Usage Directions:
Apply the product when the filter is not in use.

Directions for Cartridge Filters:
- Turn filtration system off.
- Remove filter cartridge form the pool or spa filter and hose down the filter element to remove any loose debris.
- Fill a suitable container, bucket or bin with enough water to cover the cartridge and then add the entire product contents (250g) to the container.
- Submerge the filter cartridge into the diluted cleaner solution for 24 hours.
- After 24 hours agitate the cartridge in the solution then rinse thoroughly.
- Reassemble the filter, then resume normal

Directions for Media Filters:
Pre-mix entire contents of the 250g Filter Cleaner and Degreaser in 10 litres of water.
Remove the pump lid and add the pre-mixed solution to the hair and lint pot of the pump.
Refit the pump lid and observethe backwash sight glass. Switch on the pump until a white colour appears at the backwash sight glass. This indicates complete saturation of the media bed. Switch pump off immediately.
Allow filter to stand overnight
The following morning, return valve to backwash position, open pump inlet valve (if fitted), switch the pump back on and carry out a complete backwash and rinse procedure before returning back to your normal pool operation.

Storage and Disposal:
Store in the original sachet in a cool, dry place, ensuring it is closed securely. Keep out of reach of children. Do not store in direct sunlight. Dispose of empty sachet by rinsing in your pool's water before disposing in your regular household waste.

Safety:
Keep out of reach of children. Avoid contact with skin and eyes. Always wear rubber gloves and wash hands after use. Avoid breathing in chemical dust. Do not mix with other chemicals.
