Trinity Overduin’s Poolwerx Journey

Trinity Overduin’s relationship with Poolwerx is more than just professional – it’s deeply personal. Her journey began when her parents purchased a mobile Poolwerx business in 2004 and later opened a retail location in Mt Gravatt in 2008. Immersed in the Poolwerx culture from an early age, Trinity developed a passion for the business that shaped her career path.

Growing up in her parents’ franchise taught Trinity the value of community and strong customer relationships. "I watched my parents build relationships with clients, which made a lasting impression on me. It’s about more than just pools; it’s about creating lasting memories for families," she recalls.

After 12 years as a chef, Kristen Noble was seeking a new vocation. So, she decided to swap her chef's hat for a swimming cap and dive into a role at Poolwerx. Here, she’s been able to build a truly remarkable career, now managing Western Australia’s largest Poolwerx franchise with aspirations of one day owning it! "It's a very boutique, complex industry, and once you know it, you don't forget it for life. I could step into a Subway right now and a customer would walk in and go, ‘Can I have a white bread, ham, cheese, tomato sub?’ And I'd be able to work that out pretty quickly just from our natural understanding of life. But in the pool industry, if someone comes in and says, ‘My pool's green, what chemicals do I need to fix it naturally?’ No one knows unless you're in the industry. So, it's a cool skill set."

“Absolutely, I feel proud. Because there's not many people out there who know how complex the pool industry can be. Especially when you do pool handovers and things like that, when you're teaching someone who's never owned a pool before how a pool  operates, the chemistry that's needed in it. You can just see it in their eyes, so it's a sense of pride when you're telling them about what you do every single day.”
